First DLC for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Launches Soon

Bandai Namco has announced that the first DLC for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will be releasing on April 28, 2020. Titled A New Power Awakens – Part 1, the content will unlock two new transformations, Super Saiyan God Vegeta and Super Saiyan God Goku, and a new boss fight against Beerus. Goku and Vegeta will team up to fight him, who will be level 250 and block the use of some items.

On its release, A New Power Awakens – Part 1 will only be available as part of the game’s season pass. When the second part of the DLC, A New Power Awakens – Part 2, releases later this year players without the season pass will be able to pick up both together. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot follows the plot of the anime and is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
