Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen Releasing in May

NIS America announced North American and European release dates for its visual novel/tactical RPG hybrid Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen. The game will be released digitally and physically for PlayStation 4 and digitally-only for PlayStation Vita in North America on May 26, 2020, with its European release following on May 29, 2020. Cross-save will be available between the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita versions.

Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen is a remake of the first Utawarerumono game, which was originally released in Japan as an adult title in 2002, before versions without the adult content were released for PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable in 2006 and 2009 respectively, also only in Japan. A sequel duology, Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception and Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth, was released in North America and Europe for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in North America and Europe by Atlus in 2017.
