Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX Gets New Trailers

Nintendo and The Pokémon Company released two new videos for the upcoming Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX. The first video gives a quick introduction to the game as a whole, while the second, longer video tells the story behind the Makuhita Dojo, a training facility that is home to an assortment of mazes. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX will be released for Nintendo Switch on March 6, 2020. A demo version is currently available to download, and players will be able to transfer save files from the demo to the full game.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX is a remake of the first games in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team. The game is a crossover between the Pokémon series and Spike Chunsoft’s Mystery Dungeon dungeon-crawling series and sees players controlling a human who is transformed into a Pokémon and decides to form a rescue team to help Pokémon affected by disasters occurring across the world. It will include updated visuals from the original Nintendo DS releases, as well as a new auto-mode and an increased party size of up to eight Pokémon. Evolutions of Pokémon added in later games and Mega Evolved forms of certain species will also appear, bringing the total number in the game to over 400.
