Ganbare! Super Strikers Heading to Consoles

Publisher Ratalaika Games and developer rese have announced that the hybrid soccer game Ganbare! Super Strikers will be heading to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Xbox One later this month. The game was initially released by rese for PC back in 2018, and a trailer for the PC version can be seen below.

Ganbare! Super Strikers blends a soccer game into a grid-based tactical RPG skirmish. The story mode focuses on a small group of players trying to become the best soccer team in Japan, and eventually the world. Players will be able to field a team of seven or eleven participants who can level up, equip items, and learn special abilities that can inflict status effects during matches. There will be local multiplayer that allows up to eight players to participate in quick matches or a tournament mode.
