The Elder Scrolls Online Teases Trip to Familiar Region

During The Game Awards, ZeniMax Online Studios released a new cinematic trailer for Dragonhold, the final piece of DLC for the Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr expansion and the conclusion of the game’s Season of the Dragon content series. Dragonhold introduces a new area in southern Elsweyr known as Pellitine as players attempt to stop Kaalgrontiid once and for all. The trailer also reveals that the game’s next expansion will see players head to the region of Skyrim, with more details to be revealed on January 16, 2020.

The Elder Scrolls Online is a buy-to-play MMORPG with microtransactions and an optional subscription that was originally released for PC and Mac in 2014, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions following in 2015. The game currently has three major expansions — Morrowind, Summerset, and Elsweyr — alongside numerous other pieces of DLC content.
