Persona 5 Scramble Releasing in Japan in February

Atlus announced that Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers will be released for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan on February 20, 2020. The game is an action RPG being developed with Koei Tecmo’s Omega Force studio and was originally announced in April alongside Persona 5 Royal, an enhanced version of Persona 5 that releases in Japan on October 31, 2019.

Persona 5 Scramble is a sequel taking place in the summer, half a year after the ending of the original Persona 5. The Phantom Thieves get together for a summer vacation, but are caught up in a new incident involving Palaces, with cases occurring across Japan. Players will be able to directly control all members of the Phantom Thieves, except the character in the navigator role, as they run around numerous locations and fight against Shadows.

Atlus announced that all those who purchase the first-print run of the game in Japan will get access to bonus DLC that adds in battle music from all the previous Persona games. The first offical livestream for the game, which will include live gameplay, will take place on November 4, 2019, at 8pm JST (11am GMT/6am EST/3am PST).
