Grandia HD Remaster Now Available on PC

GungHo Online Entertainment’s remaster of the first Grandia game is now out on PC. Grandia HD Remaster is available through Steam priced at $19.99/£15.49/€16.79. The remaster features enhanced details on the UI, game sprites, and texture art, and enhancements to the cinematic videos. The game includes both English and Japanese audio, as well as English, French, and German language support, with Japanese language support to be added via a patch at a later date.

The first Grandia game was released for Sega Saturn in Japan in 1997 before later coming to PlayStation worldwide. The remaster was first released for Nintendo Switch alongside a remaster of Grandia II as the Grandia HD Collection in August 2019. The release of the first game’s PC version has also seen the Steam remaster of the second game renamed from Grandia II Anniversary Edition to Grandia II HD Remaster.
