Yo-kai Watch 1’s Switch Version Gets New Screenshots, Yo-kai Watch 4 Update Announced

Level-5 has released a new batch of screenshots for its Nintendo Switch port of the first Yo-kai Watch game. The game will be released physically and digitally in Japan on October 10, 2019, and includes remastered graphics and compatibility with Yo-kai Art and DX Yo-Seiken toys. There is currently no news regarding a western release for Yo-kai Watch 1′s Switch version.

In addition, Level-5 also announced an upcoming update for Yo-kai Watch 4. The update will be released later this year and will add the residential area Dandanzaka (Blossom Heights in English) that previously appeared in the series. Yo-kai Watch 4 was released for Nintendo Switch in Japan on June 20, 2019, with Level-5 recently announcing plans for a PlayStation 4 release in Japan. The company has stated that a western release is planned for Yo-kai Watch 4, but no details have been given.
