Pair of SaGa Release Dates Revealed

Square Enix has announced western release dates for two titles in the SaGa series. The first date is for the remake of Romancing SaGa 3, which will be released in North America and Europe on November 11, 2019, the same date as its Japanese release. The game will be available digitally for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android. Romancing SaGa 3 was originally released for Super Famicom in Japan in 1995. The upcoming remake includes optimised graphics, new dungeons, new story scenarios, and a New Game Plus feature. The remake of its predecessor, Romancing SaGa 2, was released in 2017.

The second date is for SaGa Scarlet Grace: Ambitions, which will be released in North America and Europe on December 3, 2019. The game will be available digitally for PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android. SaGa Scarlet Grace: Ambitions is an enhanced version of the 2016 Japan-only title SaGa Scarlet Grace. Players follow the story of one of four protagonists — Urpina, Taria, Balmant, and Leonard — each of whom has their own unique storyline, with players able to recruit from up to seventy characters to join their cause.
