Launch Trailer for The Surge 2 Cracks Some Skulls

Focus Home Interactive has released the official launch trailer for Deck13’s The Surge 2, in preparation for the game’s impending release. The Surge 2 continues its predecessor’s aggressive style of combat, letting players sever enemies’ body parts in order to appropriate their weapons and armor for themselves. At the same time, it promises to up the ante on everything the first game delivered.

The Surge 2 features a player-created protagonist, the sole survivor of a nanovirus outbreak in the dystopian metropolis of Jericho City. The game is releasing this week, on September 24, 2019, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Players who pre-order the game will receive the URBN Gear Pack, which includes a new armor set, two new weapons, as well as other cosmetics and gear.
