D&D Enhanced Edition Console Releases Pushed Back
Beamdog has announced that the Dungeons & Dragons Enhanced Edition releases scheduled for this month have been pushed back. The physical and digital editions of the Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition Pack and the Planescape: Torment / Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition Pack will now be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on October 15, 2019.
The Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition Pack contains Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition, Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition, and the Baldur’s Gate: Siege of Dragonspear expansion, while the Planescape: Torment / Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition Pack contains Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition and Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition. A further title, Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition, will be released for the same platforms in North America on December 3, 2019, and in Europe on December 6, 2019.
What about Icewind Dale 2? Is it included in Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition?
Afraid not. As I understand it there is no source code available for Icewind Dale II so Beamdog hasn’t been able to do anything with it.
