Bard’s Tale Trilogy, Wasteland Remasters Coming to Xbox One

inXile Entertainment has announced that it will be releasing The Bard’s Tale Trilogy for Xbox One on August 13, 2019. The collection offers rebuilt and remastered versions, created with the help of Krome Studios, of the three games originally created by Interplay in the 1980s. The release of the Xbox One version will also see the collection made available on the Microsoft and Origin PC stores. The Bard’s Tale Trilogy was originally released for PC in August 2018, though only the first game, Tales of the Unknown, was available initially. The two other titles, The Destiny Knight and Thief of Fate, were made available in October 2018 and February 2019.

The company also revealed that the Wasteland 30th Anniversary Edition will be coming to Xbox One. The Xbox One release joins the previously-announced PC version, with both platforms set to receive the game in Q4 2019. The remastered version of the post-apocalyptic open-world tactical RPG initially released in 1988 was originally announced in June 2018 as part of the PC Wasteland 30th Anniversary Bundle.
