Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 Update Releasing This Month
Ubisoft has announced the release date for its latest additional content for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2. The upcoming update is titled Episode 1 – D.C. Outskirts: Expeditions and will be available on all current platforms for Year 1 Pass owners on July 23, 2019, with all other players receiving access on July 30, 2019.
Episode 1 – D.C. Outskirts: Expeditions will include two new main missions: Camp White Oak and Manning National Zoo. The first sees players participate in an assault on the presidental compound, while the second sees them following an enemy to where they have holed up in a zoo. It also includes a new “experience” dubbed Expeditions, where players can investigate three wings of Kenly College, as well as new gear and classified assignments, and more.
A sequel to 2016’s Tom Clancy’s The Division, The Division 2 takes place in Washington, D.C. Players control sleeper agents who have been activated and tasked with restoring order after a smallpox outbreak causes societal breakdown. The game is currently available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, with releases on the Google Stadia and Uplay+ streaming services planned for the future.
