Oninaki Demo Now Available

Square Enix and Tokyo RPG Factory have released a demo version of action RPG Oninaki. The demo is available to download for free on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. The demo contains two modes: a story mode that includes a portion of the start of the game, and a battle mode where players can use an upgraded character to try out different job roles. Progress from the story mode can be carried over to the main game when it launches.

Oninaki follows a man named Kagachi who is duty-bound in his role as a Watcher to sever the connections between the world and those who linger in it after death. Unlike Tokyo RPG Factory’s previous titles — I Am Setsuna and Lost Sphear — Oninaki features a real-time action combat system. Oninaki will be released worldwide on August 22, 2019.
