Oninaki to Release in August

Square Enix announced that the latest title from Tokyo RPG Factory, Oninaki, will be released worldwide on August 22, 2019. The game will be available digitally for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. The release date trailer, which debuted during Square Enix’s E3 presentation, and some new screenshots can be viewed below.

Oninaki follows a man named Kagachi who is duty-bound in his role as a Watcher to sever the connections between the world and those who linger in it after death. Unlike Tokyo RPG Factory’s previous titles — I Am Setsuna and Lost Sphear — Oninaki features a real-time action combat system.
