Persona 5 Royal Trailer Highlights New Character Kasumi

Atlus has released a new Japanese trailer for Persona 5 Royal. The new video focuses on the new party member Kasumi Yoshizawa. Kasumi is a gymnast and transfer student at Shujin Academy, while her Persona is revealed in the trailer as Cendrillon.

Atlus also revealed the contents of Straight Flush Edition of the game, which is known as Persona 5: The Royal in Japan. The ¥13,800 (c. $127) edition includes:

  • Collector’s box with Shigenori Soejima-illustrated artwork
  • 48-page hardcover art book
  • Soundtrack CD and booklet
  • Large-size t-shirt
  • Phantom Thieves Costumes DLC Set (Velvet Room Costume & BGM Special Set and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight Costume & BGM Set)

Persona 5 Royal will be released in Japan for PlayStation 4 on October 31, 2019. Atlus has already confirmed that the game will be released in the west as Persona 5 Royal in 2020.

    Honestly i cannot wait. Im upset we have to wait a long time when they REALLY did not add that much to the original game. Sure they put a good amount but not enough to take 3 years of development. I hope its done fast. I really would love a reason to delve into this game and beat everything. I want to lose myself for a good week again.
