Numbskull Games to Publish Crystar, AI: The Somnium Files in Europe
Recently-established UK-based publisher Numbskull Games has announced that it is partnering with Spike Chunsoft to release physical and digital console versions of two upcoming titles in Europe and Australia. The two games in the deal are action RPG Crystar and adventure title AI: The Somnium Files.
Crystar is an action RPG from FuRyu and Gemdrops themed around the afterlife. The game follows Rei Hatada, a young girl who supposedly kills her younger sister Mirai after being drawn into limbo. She becomes an agent of the devil, charging into battle against various monsters. Crystar is set to be released for PlayStation 4 in Europe on August 30, 2019, shortly after its North American PlayStation 4 and worldwide PC release on August 27, 2019.
AI: The Somnium Files is an adventure title from Kotaro Uchikoshi (series director for Zero Escape) with character designs from Yusuke Kozaki (Fire Emblem Awakening and Fire Emblem Fates). The game is set in near-future Tokyo, with players controlling Special Agent Kaname Date as he investigates a mysterious serial killer. AI: The Somnium Files is set to be released for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in North America and for PC worldwide on September 17, 2019, with its European Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 release set for September 20, 2019.
