Crystar PS5 Version Released in the West

Spike Chunsoft announced that it has released the PlayStation 5 version of action RPG Crystar in North America and Europe. Previously announced for release in Japan on February 27, 2025, the PlayStation 5 version is available digitally for $19.99 and come with 30 costumes, including ones previously available as paid DLC for other versions. Along with the release, Spike Chunsoft announced that its existing PlayStation 4 version has been reduced in price to $19.99.

Developed by Gemdrops and FuRyu, Crystar initially released on PlayStation 4 and PC in 2019 before being ported to Nintendo Switch in 2022. The game is themed around the afterlife, and follows Rei Hatada, a young girl who supposedly kills her younger sister Mirai after being drawn into Purgatory.
