Morgana Gives Second Report on Persona 5’s Royal Additions

Atlus has posted the second video in its Japanese Morgana’s Report series for Persona 5 Royal. The new video introduces numerous additions coming in the game, revealing that new character Kasumi Yoshizawa’s Arcana is “Faith”, as well as the existence of a gallery option to re-watch movies and event scenes. Meanwhile, there will be new elements added surrounding the character Goro Akechi. There will also be new strong enemies called “Kyouma” that can be found in Palaces (dungeons) and defeated to earn rare items, while new “Ishi” items can be collected and turned into an accessory that grant their wearer powerful skills. Finally, there are new actions to take within Palaces, and new elements in battle, included increased gun customisation.

A third Morgana’s Report video is set to be released in July. Atlus also updated the game’s official Japanese website earlier this month with new screenshots, viewable below. Persona 5 Royal will be released in Japan for PlayStation 4 on October 31, 2019. Atlus has already confirmed that the game will be released in the west as Persona 5 Royal in 2020.
