Yo-kai Watch 4 Slightly Delayed in Japan

Level-5 has announced that Yo-kai Watch 4‘s release has been delayed by a couple of weeks in Japan. Previously scheduled for release on Nintendo Switch on June 6, 2019, the game will now launch on June 20, 2019. Level-5 stated that the delay is for quality improvements.

Yo-kai Watch 4 features a story that crosses over across four worlds: the modern-day world of regular protagonist Keita (Nate in English); a world thirty years in the future that features Natsume, Keita’s future daughter; a third world is set in the 1960s and features Shin, who previously appeared in the movie Yo-kai Watch: Forever Friends; with the final world the mysterious yo-kai world of Yo-makai. There is currently no news regarding a western release, though the previous title, Yo-kai Watch 3, was recently released in North America and Europe. New versions of the game’s trailer and opening song have been released to reflect the release date change.
