Borderlands 3 Shows Off Gameplay

Gearbox Software held an hour-long presentation for the gameplay reveal of Borderlands 3. The showcase, viewable in full below in addition to a new trailer, features the Vault Hunter Amara joining up with the Crimson Raiders in its battle against the Children of the Vault, a radical cult attempting to overtake Pandora. Several missions are shown, with details provided about Amara’s character growth, updates and changes to the different models of weapons, and new systems in place for the game. A new option was announced for cooperative play that instances all loot for the players and balances loot drops and enemies for any level disparities between players in the same game.

Borderlands 3 is the first in the series designed for modern consoles and is set to release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Games Store on September 13, 2019. Several editions of the game are available for pre-order, the details of which can be found here.
