Arcadia Fallen Switch Version Announced

Developer Galdra Studios announced that its hybrid visual novel/RPG Arcadia Fallen will be released on Nintendo Switch. The Switch version joins the previously-confirmed PC, Mac, and Linux releases, though it is not confirmed if it will launch simultaneously. The PC, Mac, and Linux versions are currently expected to launch later in 2021.

Arcadia Fallen is set in a fantasy world, where players control an apprentice alchemist (with customisable appearance and gender) bound to an illegal spirit who is drawn into a war between humanity and magic forces. Gameplay is heavily dialogue-focused, inspired by Mass Effect and Dragon Age, with players choosing responses often assigned particular moods or tones. The game underwent a successful Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign in 2020.
