Sega Details Judgment’s Localisation Options

Sega has provided more details and a new trailer focusing on the language options in the western release of Judgment. The game will be available with English and Japanese voice overs as well as with English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish subtitles. There are two sets of English subtitles, which are tied to the English and Japanese versions of the voiced dialogue, while the French, Italian, German, and Spanish subtitles are based on the Japanese voicing.

Set in the same world as Ryū ga Gotoku Studio’s Yakuza series, Judgment (known in Japan as Judge Eyes) is a legal thriller that follows Takayuki Yagami — modelled on and played in Japanese by actor Takuya Kimura — a former defence lawyer who works as private investigator after the betrayal of a former client. The game was released for PlayStation 4 in Japan in December 2018 and will be released in North America and Europe in summer 2019.
