Final Fantasy IX Out on Switch, Xbox One; Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon, Final Fantasy VII Dates Revealed

Final Fantasy IX is now available worldwide for Nintendo Switch and Xbox One. The game is available digitally from the eShop and Xbox Game Store priced at $20.99. The release offers new features including high-definition movies and character models, auto-save functionality, and more.

In addition, Square Enix has announced western release dates for Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon: Every Buddy! and Final Fantasy VII‘s Nintendo Switch and Xbox One versions. Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon: Every Buddy! — an updated version of Wii title Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo’s Dungeon — will be released for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on March 20, 2019. Meanwhile, Final Fantasy VII will be released for Nintendo Switch and Xbox One on March 26, 2019, and include similar features to the Final Fantasy IX release.
