Away: Journey to the Unexpected Expected in February

Developer Aurélien Regard and publisher Playdius have announced that the first-person adventure RPG Away: Journey to the Unexpected will be released on various platforms in February 2019. The game will arrive on PlayStation 4 first on February 5, 2019, followed by a Switch release on February 7, 2019, and an Xbox One release on February 8, 2019. The PC version has not been given a specific date but is also set for February 2019.

Away: Journey to the Unexpected combines rogue-lite and FPS elements with players controlling a kid who is neither a hero nor warrior. However, he is adept at making friends and uses his ability to team up with various characters, who players will be able to control and use the abilities of. The game is being primarily developed in France, with the music and opening animation being created in Japan.
