THQ Nordic Acquires Expeditions IP, New Title in Development

THQ Nordic has announced that it has acquired the Expeditions IP from developer Logic Artists. The deal for the series, which currently consists of titles Expeditions: Conquistador and Expeditions: Viking, will see Logic Artists develop a third as yet unannounced title.

The previous two Expeditions games were turn-based RPGs with historical settings. Expeditions: Conquistador took players to America during the 16th century as Spanish forces invade and was originally released for PC, Mac, and Linux in 2013. Meanwhile, Expeditions: Viking put players in Norway and Scotland during the Viking raids of the 8th century and was released for PC in 2017.
