Mythical Pokémon Meltan’s Evolution Melmetal Revealed

Following its previous reveal of the new mythical Pokémon Meltan, The Pokémon Company and Nintendo have revealed details about Meltan’s evolved form, the Steel-type Melmetal. Meltan evolves into Melmetal in Pokémon GO if players use 400 Meltan Candies, which can be obtained by catching Meltan in the mobile game, sending them to Professor Willow, selecting Meltan as their Buddy Pokémon and walking around, or by sending Meltan from Pokémon GO to Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!. Like Meltan, once obtained, Melmetal can be transferred to the Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!.

Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon Let’s Go, Eevee! are due to launch worldwide for Nintendo Switch on November 16, 2018. The games blend a remake of Pokémon Yellow with elements from smartphone title Pokémon Go, with wild Pokémon now visible on screen before being encountered and these encounters taking the form of Pokémon Go’s capture encounters rather than standard Pokémon battles.

  1. Well, with the Cosmog line being the first Legendaries to evolve, it stands to reasons that it’s time for a Mythical Pokemon to have an evolved form, too.

What I really like about Two Professors videos is the way Benjamin Diskin and Robbie Daymond ham it up as Oak and Willow. 😀
