Pokémon: Let’s Go Shows Mega Evolutions, Familiar Faces and Places

The Pokémon Company has released a new trailer and information for the upcoming Nintendo Switch titles Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! and Let’s Go, Pikachu!. The minute-long video show some of the Mega Evolutions — special power-ups introduced in Pokémon X and Y — that will be available, as well as familiar locations from the Kanto region, and a pair of familiar villains.

Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon Let’s Go, Eevee! are due to launch worldwide for Nintendo Switch on November 16, 2018. The games blend a remake of Pokémon Yellow with elements from smartphone title Pokémon Go, with wild Pokémon now visible on screen before being encountered and these taking the form of Pokémon Go‘s capture encounters rather than standard Pokémon battles.
