As an update, I managed to take out the final boss, Catastrophus, the night after we recorded. The tiny bit of “story” that comes afterward certainly doesn’t make up for the effort, but I guess that Metal Max Xeno didn’t manage to defeat me.

  2. Ugh, Ignition. . . They have forever earned my ire for what they did to Arc Rise Fantasia!

Anyway, with the release of The World Ends with You: Final Remix and the upcoming release of Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition, I am reminded that both games have soundtracks that are so fitting for their setting that it sounds more like the music comes from the game world. That is to say, it sounds like the music was something that was composed and performed by the denizen of that world. What other RPGs do you feel have music that fitting to their setting?

Have you ever come across a line or a story segment that stood out as so awkward or bizarre in an other wise normal game?

Are there any characters that stand out to you as having really great outfits? What about bad ones?

What is your least favorite character in one of your otherwise favorite games?
