The Council Goes Underground in Episode 4

French development studio Big Bad Wolf is inviting players back to Lord Mortimer’s private island once again for the penultimate installment in the episodic adventure-RPG hybrid. The Council: Episode 4 sees Louis de Richet delve even deeper into the mysteries surrounding his mother’s disappearance, literally entering the labyrinthine catacombs under the island itself, as past events begin to make their impacts felt to the island’s other inhabitants.

The Council puts a heavy focus on the interactions between Louis and other members of the secret society, including Napoleon Bonaparte and George Washington, using its Social Influence system. The first of the game’s five episodes released on March 13, 2018, for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The latest episode will be available to season pass holders on September 25, 2018, while the episode itself will be available as a standalone purchase two days later.
