Digital Store Weekly Round-Up (September 20, 2018)

Welcome to RPGamer’s weekly digital round-up. In this column we look to provide our readers with updates on recent releases and sales for RPGs across the digital marketplace.

New Releases

A few new titles arrive this week, with CrossCode exiting Early Access, The Bard’s Tale arriving on PC, and Labyrinth of Refrain hitting PC and console. Meanwhile, Undertale releases on Switch, joined by the standalone release of Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna ~ The Golden Country, and Kemco’s Dragon Sinker hits PlayStation in Europe.

Sales and Discounts

The North American PlayStation Store adds a new Pub Party Sale that includes Blackguards 2 and Vikings: Wolves of Midgard as well as a Warner Bros. sale including Gauntlet: Slayer Edition.

In Europe, a new Ubisoft sale includes deals on Assassin’s Creed Origins, Child of Light, South Park, and Tom Clancy’s The Division. A Games Under €20/£16 selection features deals on Tales of Berseria, The Surge, Mordheim, .hack//G.U., and The Technomancer, accompanied by Games Under €10/£9 that include Tales of Zestiria, Ys Origin, Zenith, Bound by Flame, Citizens of Earth, Shiness, and Anima: Gate of Memories. There are also some other sales including Persona 5, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Skyrim, NieR: Automata, Secret of Mana, Shining Resonance Refrain, Megadimension Neptunia VIIR, Battle Chasers: Nightwar, Omega Quintet, Fairy Fender F, Dark Rose Valkyrie, and The Dwarves.

The Xbox Store has new deals for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Masters of Anima, The Technomancer, Blue Dragon, Fable, Lost Odyssey, Mars: War Logs, and Mass Effect.

The Nintendo eShop in America has deals for Adventure Bar Story, Dragon Fang Z, Drancia Saga, Etrian Odyssey IV, Fairune, Hand of Fate 2, Mercenaries Saga 2, One More Dungeon, and Yonder. Europe has sales for Switch titles Die for Valhalla, Dragon Fang Z, Hand of Fate 2, Oceanhorn, One More Dungeon, and Yonder, with 3DS sales TBC..

Steam‘s current sales include NieR: Automata, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Nioh, Secret of Mana, Divinity, Star Ocean: The Last Hope, Atelier Lydie & Suelle, Blue Reflection, Nights of Azure 2, and One Way Heroics. GOG.com features deals on the Divinity series, Torchlight, Torchlight 2, and Tales of Maj’Eyal. Meanwhile, The Humble Store has discounts on Secret of Mana, Final Fantasy XV, Final Fantasy XIV, Chrono Trigger, Romancing SaGa 2, and Disgaea 5.
