Persona Q2 Receives Official Trailer, More Details

Following on from the initial announcement and teaser trailer provided over the weekend, Atlus has released both the first official trailer and additional information for Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth. The game will feature a total of twenty-eight Persona users from Persona 3, Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4, and Persona 5.

Beginning from the Persona 5 side of the story, the game begins with Morgana’s van form being sucked into a mysterious town filled with enemies. The Phantom Thieves’ escape efforts sees them trapped in a cinema with no exit. Here new characters Nagi and Hikari inform the group that they have emerged from inside a movie. The Persona users must then enter various movie-worlds, which take the form on Etrian Odyssey-style labyrinths, where they meet other Persona users and join forces to try and escape the movie theatre.

Each movie-labyrinth has its own theme and is a unique creation with its own elements to overcome. Players will be able to swap out Personas and use various tactics, with the Persona series’ Weak Point system playing an important role in combat. Like its predecessor, the game will also feature Etrian Odyssey map drawing, with an auto-map mode available, as well as powerful F.O.E. enemies that wander the labyrinths.

Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth will be released in Japan on November 29, 2018. The game will be available exclusively on Nintendo 3DS.

I wonder if they are gonna recast Naoto again. Sounded like they still have all the OG P3 voices for P3 Dancing and P5 is still recent enough I’m sure the cast won’t change.
