The Bard’s Tale to be Enshrined in a Physical Release

Red Art Games has announced its first official limited release: The Bard’s Tale: Remastered and Resnarkled. The physical editions of the game will be available for pre-order on the company’s website on August 13, 2018, for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. Both versions will retail for €24.99 and will be released in Fall 2018. The PlayStation 4 version will be limited to five thousand copies while the PlayStation Vita version will be limited to three thousand copies.

Remastered in 2017 for the aforementioned platforms, The Bard’s Tale was originally released for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. Featuring the voice work of Cary Elwes and Tony Jay, the game gives players control of the Bard, an opportunistic musician more concerned with carnal pleasures than heroic feats. As is inevitable for all game heroes, he gets caught up in a parody of a traditional RPG.
