The Bard’s Tale Remastered Coming to Nintendo Switch, Xbox One

InXile Entertainment has released an announcement trailer for the impending release of its comedic action RPG The Bard’s Tale: Remastered and Resnarkled on Nintendo Switch and Xbox One. A separate take on the dungeon-crawling classic, the game includes sing-alongs, fourth wall-breaking, and the voice talents of Cary Elwes and Tony Jay. The game will be available on June 18, 2020.

The Bard’s Tale: Remastered and Resnarkled is an enhanced version of 2004’s The Bard’s Tale, which is itself a homage to the original 1980s Bard’s Tale trilogy. The game was first released for PlayStation 2 and Xbox, before later coming to PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, and Ouya. The latest remastered version saw a digital release for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in 2017.
