Bandai Namco Introduces Code Vein’s Yakumo, Louis

Following on from its Mia Karnstein trailer released earlier in the week, Bandai Namco has unveiled two more character trailers for the upcoming action RPG Code Vein, both of whom can join the player as a companion. The first video focuses on Yakumo Shionome, who uses the Hounds Blood Veil in combat. The second features Louis, who utilises the Ogre Blood Veil.

Code Vein is set in a post-apocalyptic world where a phenomenon called the Thorns of Judgment has laid waste to human civilisation. As a result of this phenomenon, surviving humans have gained supernatural abilities at the cost of severe bloodlust that can turn them into members of the mindless cannibalistic force wandering the world known as the Lost.  Code Vein is set to be released on September 28, 2018, for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Pascal Tekaia, Zack Webster, and Chris Privitere were all able to briefly check the game out at E3 and reported back with their impressions.
