Ni no Kuni II Adds Harder Difficulty Levels

Bandai Namco and Level-5 have released patch 1.03 for Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom. The main feature of the patch is the addition of two new difficulty modes: Hard and Extreme. The new difficulties can be selected at the start of a new game or at any time through the in-game options menu. The new difficulties will pose greater challenges for players, but provide rarer rewards from monster drops and treasure chests.

Ni no Kuni II returns players to Ding Dong Dell, this time controlling a young boy named Evan, a deposed king who sets out to reclaim his throne. The game is available for PlayStation 4 and PC. Those looking to read more about the game can check out Charalampos Papdimitriou’s review of the PlayStation 4 version.
