For the King Adds Endless Dungeon Mode

IronOak Games has announced that it will add an endless dungeon mode in a free update for For the King. The update will be released on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, and also include Polish language support, a new player stat screen, and a new “house rules” feature for additional playthrough settings. The endless dungeon mode is a new challenge that includes new enemies and unlocks unique items as well as more character customisation options.

A hybrid of board-game-esque strategy, turn-based combat, and roguelike elements, For the King was initially crowdfunded through Kickstarter in 2015 and released for PC in April 2018. A console release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch is planned for early 2019. Those looking to read more about the game can check out a pre-release interview with developer Gordon Moran.
