For the King Hits PC Next Week

Curve Digital and IronOak Games have announced that For the King, a hybrid of board-game-esque strategy, turn-based combat, and roguelike elements, will be released for PC on April 19, 2018. The game will be available through Steam for $19.99/£15.49/€19.99 with a 20% launch week discount. A console version will also be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in early 2019.

For the King was initially crowdfunded through Kickstarter in 2015. Players are tasked with defending the kingdom of Fahrul after its king is murdered by an unknown attacker, and can choose to split their party in order to try and deal with multiple threats at once.
