For the King Arrives on Consoles

Curve Digital and IronOak Games’ hybrid between roguelike RPG and strategy board game For the King releases on consoles this week. The game is available now for PlayStation 4 before launching on Nintendo Switch tomorrow, May 9, and on Xbox One on Friday, May 10. All three versions are available digitally priced at $24.99/£19.99/€24.99, with a 20% launch discount available for the first two weeks on sale. Merge Games will be releasing a physical edition through its Signature Edition label for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on May 24, 2019.

For the King was initially crowdfunded through Kickstarter in 2015 and released for PC in April 2018. Players are tasked with defending the kingdom of Fahrul after its king is murdered by an unknown attacker, and can choose to split their party in order to try and deal with multiple threats at once.
