Two New Touhou RPGs Announced

Two new doujin RPGs based on the Touhou Project bullet-hell series appeared at the series’ Hakurei Jinja Reitaisai 2018 convention in Tokyo. The first of the games is an action RPG titled Touhou Genso Kikou: Lost Alchemy, which is being developed by CUBETYPE for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. The second is a follow-up to Aqua Style’s Touhou Genso Wanderer (released in Japan as Fushigi no Gensokyo: The Tower of Desire), titled Fushigi no Gensokyo: Lotus Labyrinth, which is also coming to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.

No release dates or additional details have been given for the games at this time. No announcement has been made regarding a western release, though the original Touhou Genso Wanderer was released in North America and Europe for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita by NIS America, with its enhanced Reloaded version coming to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on July 20, 2018.
