Playism Makes Some Seventh Anniversary Announcements

Indie publisher Playism celebrated its seventh anniversary by announcing seven new titles that the company plans to release in English this year. Of the seven titles, the one most of interest to RPGamers is Hakoniwa Explorer Plus, a voxel-style action RPG developed by Suxamethonium. Players venture through various dungeons, facing off against an assortment of monster girls. Hakoniwa Explorer Plus will be released for PC through Playism’s webiste and Steam for $9.99, though no date has been announced.

The announcements also feature another title labelled an RPG, Angels of Death, but it appears to be more of a horror adventure title. Nevertheless, the game is developed by Hoshikuzu KRNKRN and was originally released for PC through Steam in 2016. Playism will be releasing Angels of Death on Nintendo Switch in the summer of 2018 (with an animated adaptation produced by studio J.C.Staff also airing during that time) for $14.99.

The other five titles in the announcement cover an assortment of genres: adventure title La-Mulana 2 is set for release on PC in summer 2018, horror adventure NightCry will be released for PlayStation Vita sometime in 2018, flight action title Vertical Strike Endless Challenge will be released for Nintendo Switch in summer 2018, 2D shooter Kero Blaster will be released for Nintendo Switch in summer 2018, and hack-and-slash title Croixleur Sigma will also be released for Nintendo Switch in summer 2018.
