Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate Coming to Switch in August

Capcom announced that it will be releasing Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate for Nintendo Switch in North America and Europe. The game, which was released as Monster Hunter XX (“Double-Cross”) in Japan, is an enhanced version of 3DS title Monster Hunter Generations, and will be released on August 28, 2018.

Monster Hunter Generations was originally released in 2016 and introduced the ability to play as a Felyne, a cat-like species that traditionally plays a support role. Generations Ultimate adds a new set of quests (G Rank), a new Elder Dragon, a new end-game boss, new Deviant forms of certain monsters, and new Alchemy and Valor combat styles. Those who played Generations on 3DS will be able to transfer their save progress to Generations Ultimate on Switch.
