Spearhead Games Announces Omensight

Spearhead Games, developer for the 2016 release Stories: The Path of Destinies, has announced its latest title: Omensight. In Omensight, players control the Harbinger, a warrior existing outside of time, who has foreseen the destruction of a land called Urralia. Summoned to avert the disaster, the Harbinger appears at various key points in time, identifying important characters, events, and choices, potentially intervening to change the course of history.

The developer revealed various names attached to the game, including voice acting from Patricia Summersett (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild) and Julian Casey (We Happy Few), and a writing team lead by Nadim Boukhira (Stories: The Path of Destinies) and Genese Davis (The Holder’s Dominion). Chris Avellone (Fallout: New Vegas, Torment: Tides of Numenera, Prey) has been noted as assisting with the script.

Omensight is being developed for PC and is planned for release sometime in 2018. A playable version of the game will be available at this weekend’s PAX South event in San Antonio.
