Monark Releasing in February

NIS America announced that FuRyu and Lancarse’s Monark will launch in North America and Europe in February 2022. The game will release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch in North America and for PC worldwide on February 22, 2022, with the European PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch versions following on February 25, 2022. A $99.99/£89.99 physical Limited Edition is available to pre-order from NIS America’s North American and European online stores that includes a collector’s box, art book, soundtrack selection CD, cloth poster, and five acrylic stands.

Monark is developed by FuRyu and Lancarse and features contributions from developers of the original Shin Megami Tensei. The game — which releases in Japan this week — is set in an academy within a mysterious realm known as the Otherworld. The academy is cut off from the real world and hosts a Mist that is driving students mad. Players team up and build relationships with four classmates, taking the role of vice president for the group’s True Student Council. To go with the launch date announcement, NIS America released a new trailer showing the game’s adversaries.
