The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel Title Revealed

Bethesda announced that the newest entry in the Elder Scrolls series is titled The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel. No details about the game, which was first teased in 2018, has been revealed, though teases indicate that the game may be set in Hammerfell. The announcement comes as the developer celebrates its 40th anniversary.

The Elder Scrolls series features free-form open-world gameplay taking place on the fantasy continent of Tamriel. The first game, The Elder Scrolls: Arena, was originally released in 1994 and followed up in 1996 by The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall. Its third mainline title, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind released in 2002, followed by The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion in 2006 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in 2011. The series has received various spin-offs, as well as MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online, developed by ZeniMax Online Studios and released in 2014, which is still ongoing and receiving numerous content updates.
