Chrono Odyssey Shows Solo Boss Fight

Chrono Studio and Kakao Games released a new gameplay video for upcoming MMORPG Chrono Odyssey. The four-minute video shows a solo Paladin-class character, which wields a long spear and shield, taking on the Chrono Gate boss Miragin. It includes use of the Replicate and Isolation abilities: Replicate allows players to temporarily recreate previously-defeated boss skills, while Isolation freezes the enemy in time for a brief period.

Chrono Odyssey is set in an open world featuring numerous biomes including grasslands, snowscapes, swamps, and more. The game features action combat combined with time-manipulation elements. Players have access to an artifact called the Chronotector, which allows them to stop time around monsters or rewind a character’s time, as well as letting them explore past generations of the game’s world. The game is in development for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
