Persona 4 Revival Story Trailer Released

Atlus released a new story trailer for Persona 4 Revival, its upcoming remake of Persona 4. The two-minute video introduces the game’s premise, where a transfer student arrives in the small rural town of Inaba and gets caught up in events surrounding a series of murders and disappearances. They uncover that the events are associated with the mysterious Midnight Channel and a supernatural Shadow World that they are able to enter alongside their friends. The video is accompanied by a ten-minute story breakdown featuring producer Kazuhisa Wada.

Persona 4 launched for PlayStation 2 in 2008, later receiving an enhanced remaster titled Persona 4 Golden that released for PlayStation Vita in 2012 before subsequently getting PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch versions. The Revival remake includes fully voiced events, including Social Links, as well as new battle features, new music from composer Ryota Kozuka and remixes of previous tracks, the returning Baton Pass combat action from Persona 5 and Persona 3 Reload, and the new Prime Time power-up mode. Persona 4 Revival will release on February 19, 2027, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Update [8/28] — Atlus has also released new screenshots featuring characters Kanji, Naoto, and Teddie.
