Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader Switch 2 Version Receives Update, DLC for Free
Owlcat Games has released a major update for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader. The update is said to include improved visuals, enhanced performance, and numerous bug fixes. In addition, the developer announced that, as an apology for the “less-than-stellar” launch of the Switch 2 version, all additional content for the game, including its story DLC, will be available for free on the console. Countries in Asia where local rules do not permit free distribution will have the DLC given a nominal price instead. The Void Shadows and Lex Imperialis DLC are available now, with The Infinite Museion and upcoming fourth story DLC to follow later.
Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is currently available digitally for PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2, with a physical PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 release planned for October. It sees players leading a ship of personnel as they explore the dangerous Koronus Expanse. As a Rogue Trader, players are given great leeway in their dealings on behalf of the Imperium, making decisions that have rippling effects throughout the universe.
