EverQuest Legends Launching in Late July

Daybreak Game Company and Game Jawn announced that EverQuest Legends will release for PC on July 28, 2026. The game is a reimagined version of the original EverQuest MMORPG. Pre-orders are available now for $19.99 (with a $9.99 monthly subscription), with those who pre-order gaining access to a pre-order beta running from July 1 through July 21, 2026, as well as being able to reserve their character name and gain an optional in-game title. The pre-order beta server data will be wiped at the end of beta period.

MMORPG EverQuest originally released for PC in 1999, with both the game and its 2004 sequel EverQuest II still running. EverQuest Legends will feature the original game’s art style, graphics, zones, spell effects, loot, and music, plus modern quality-of-life enhancements including a streamlined user interface and upgraded spell and ability management. Players will be able to select up to three classes at a time, building their characters from fifteen available races and 560 possible class combinations. Those looking to read more about the game can check out Jordan McClain’s SGF Play Days interview with Executive Producer David Youssefi, Senior Engineer Sean Norton, and Lead Content Designer Eric Wellman.
