Songs of Conquest’s Yulan Faction Arriving in June
Developer Lavapotion announced that its latest faction DLC for Songs of Conquest will release on PC on June 4, 2026. The Yulan DLC adds the eponymous faction to the game. Hailing from the long-isolated region of Aerbor, the Yulan faction lets players pledge allegiance to the three houses — Li, Sheng, or Xuan — that represent different aspects of Essence: Order, Creation, or Arcana. This choice impacts how armies evolve, with units having branching upgrades depending on their house. Players are able to pledge align with multiple houses to mix and match their Essence.
The DLC includes eight new units, each able to evolve to different forms, and a new biome, as well as a new narrative campaign spanning three maps that follows the House of Sheng while its homeland faces new and old threats. It also includes five new Conquest maps with scenarios built around the Yulan.
Songs of Conquest is currently available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android. The game features turn-based strategy inspired by titles such as the Heroes of Might and Magic and the Age of Wonders series. In addition to the four different faction campaigns, players can engage in skirmish battles as well as use its map editor to create their own scenarios.
